My Name is Lindsay Carcass (Nick's bedsit demo) [Bonus track]

from The Nine Lives EP by The Feline Dream

/

about

An out-take from his writing sessions for the Nine Lives EP, this is feline2's original 4-track demo of 'My Name is Lindsay Carcass', a song which would appear on our Fashion Music EP the following year.

lyrics

"Oh Christ - here comes the tell-him-how-big-his-cock-is brigade..."

He waits in the bedroom
The silence ringing in his ears
Tap dripping in the bathroom
He shakes an insect from a towel

CHORUS:
His eyes paint a picture
All broken broken lines and twisted shapes
Crayons and toxic markers
My name is Lindsay Carcass

My name...

Babe you're too close for comfort
Always falling short of purrfection
His eyebrow was her hairline
His arm was her leg

CHORUS:
Stained cotton wool and dead hair
Wastepaper bin or storage jar
A curious cadaver
My name is Lindsay Carcass

My name...
My name...
My name...
My name...

about

The Feline Dream Castlewellan, UK

The Feline Dream were a collaboration between David 'Deakie' Davis and Nicholas 'Mermaid' Carlisle, a pair of gingers from County Down.

The band met a wretched demise in December 2003, however due to the invention of the phonograph by Édouard-Léon Scott de Martinville on 25th March 1857, their music can still be enjoyed today.
